How do I verify my account?

To keep your account secure and make sure purchases and redemptions run smoothly, verification on Rolla happens in two stages — Level 1 before your first purchase, and Level 2 before your first redemption.

Before you start: complete your profile

Before you can begin Level 1 verification, make sure your profile is filled out — that means adding your street address, city, and zip code.

Level 1 — Before your first purchase

Once your profile is complete, you'll need to pass Level 1 verification before making your first purchase. Just click the Purchase button and you'll be guided through the whole thing.

Level 1 includes two steps:

1. Liveness check (selfie verification)

A quick selfie that confirms you're physically present and match the identity on your account.

Tips for a successful check:

  • Make sure your face is clearly visible

  • Use good lighting

  • Follow the on-screen instructions carefully

  • Avoid hats, sunglasses, or anything covering your face

2. Upload your photo ID

Accepted IDs:

  • Driver's license

  • National ID document

  • Passport

  • Residence permit

Requirements:

  • Show both the front and back of the ID (not needed if you're using a passport)

  • All four corners must be visible

  • Your full name and date of birth must be clearly readable

Level 2 — Before your first redemption

Before your first redemption, you'll need to complete Level 2, which is just one step: proof of address. Click the Redeem button and you'll be guided through it.

Your proof of address must be issued within the last 3 months, and the name and address on it must match what's on your Rolla account.

Accepted documents:

  • Utility bills — water, gas, electricity, or home internet

  • Bank or credit card statements — for a debit, credit, or savings account

  • Government-issued letters or documents — official correspondence from government agencies

  • ID documents — a government-issued ID that shows your current address

Not accepted:

  • Screenshots or edited documents

  • Mobile phone bills

  • Medical bills or documents

  • Receipts or insurance statements

  • Tax forms

  • Lease or rental agreements

  • Payslips

  • Social security documents

  • P.O. Box addresses

  • Vehicle registrations

Make sure the document is clear and easy to read before you upload it — blurry or partial scans are the most common reason verification gets delayed.

Heads up: Rolla may request additional verification documents in some cases.
